Dana Lennox is currently Coordinator and Professor in the Police Foundations Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. He has held the position since 1998. For the past 10 years he has been the Chair of the Justice and Public Safety Coordinators Group of Ontario Colleges and is currently co Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Police Educators. His professional interests lie in the area of child abuse, youth crime and justice and conflict resolution. Over the past 20 years, Dana Lennox has developed and honed his skills in the area of Team Building, Communication and Trainer Development. He has been called upon to facilitate numerous workshops across North America for such organizations as the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Canadian Department of National Defence, Environment Canada, City of Ottawa, Productivity Point International, St. Johns Ambulance, The Canadian Senate and House of Commons, and Carleton University. Prior to coming to the college, he worked at the Children’s Aid Society in a variety of roles for 18 years.
