Damian Kowalewich

Damian Kowalewich is the Inspector of the Professional Standards Division with the Saanich Police Department and a three-term Councillor for the Town of View Royal.
With nearly two decades in policing, Damian is dedicated to ethical leadership, community trust, and mentoring future public safety professionals. He also teaches Evidence-Based Policing at Dalhousie University and has a deep commitment to service, wellness, and giving back. Damian is also a proud father, husband, and active community volunteer.
